CHRISTIAN AIR CORPS

Our aviation mission is to supply aircraft and pilots to meet humanitarian needs of people here in the United States and abroad, to assist in the proclamation of the Gospel, and to carry the love of God to all nations.

All aviation facilities and aircraft are for mission use; first in the carrying out of mercy flight and angel flight missions; and secondly, in the training of mission pilots from around the world, free of charge.  Because of the increased security issues in the United States, and the growing number of pilot applicants from overseas, we have incorporated in Nigeria and will be one of only a few flight schools in the country.    Our mission in Nigeria is to support the 1000 plus missionaries currently in the field by providing transportation of personnel and supplies as well as training additional pilots.

Christian Air Corps a Div. of Start Again Ministries

The Christian Air Corps has a volunteer compliment of over 60 licensed pilots to carry out its mission. Of these 60 pilots, all have piloting qualifications that allow them to fly as well as be trainers in the aircraft now owned or to be purchased by Christian Air Corps.

The Christian Air Corps plans to train missionaries and other personnel from around the world to be pilots and to utilize this skill for humanitarian outreaches. A major function of the Christian Air Corps ministry will be transporting medical and dental doctors and support personnel to remote areas and villages in third world countries. Aid and comfort is brought to people who otherwise would go through life without any type of medical care.

Christian Air Corps’ pilots will also provide disaster and economic relief flights to bring vital foods, fresh water and other necessities to destitute areas. Mercy flights are also undertaken for people needing transportation for bereavement purposes.

Nigeria’s “Angel’s Flight Academy”

The proposed new Angel’s Flight Academy building will be a duplicate of Christian Air Corps’ main building (see below) and will be located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. As previously noted, Nigeria’s Redeemed Christian Church of God has over 1,000 field missionaries who perform humanitarian missions throughout Southern Africa.  Roads are non-existent in many parts of Nigeria. It would take 2 to 3 days of hiking to reach many areas needing medical assistance. The airplanes of Christian Air Corps are able to fly much closer to villages, thus negating the lengthy and strenuous hiking time.

Through the use of the Aviation support program called "Christian Air Corps", we will 1) Train missionaries and other persons from around the world to become pilots, and to utilize that skill for humanitarian outreach; 2) bring medical and dental aid to remote areas and villages that normally do without; 3) Provide disaster relief and economic relief flights to provide necessary food and fresh water to those in need; 4) provide mercy flights for times of bereavement or to receive medical treatment from centers far from home for those who have disabilities or difficulty in travel; 5) transport skilled and volunteer labor and supplies to remote areas for construction of habitats and dwellings to improve living conditions of less fortunate individuals around the world.

Future Building & Facilities For Christian Air Corps

A primary mission of Start Again Ministries’ is to supply aircraft and qualified pilots to meet humanitarian needs of people in the United States as well as internationally.

All of the Ministry’s aircraft are, and will continue to be dedicated to missionary work to:

1.      Participate in mercy and Angel Flight Academy missions.

2.      Train mission pilots from around the world, without charge.

3.      Support missionaries in the field by providing personnel and supplies to them for their humanitarian and ministerial work.

We will be purchasing  a tract of land in the industrial/heavy commercial section of the airport. This building will house the main base of the Christian Air Corps training facility and the aircraft used in this program.

The building will utilize state of the art flight simulators and classrooms will be well equipped and have the capacity to accommodate 15 students per classroom.

This building will be the permanent home for Christian Air Corps. It will also house:

·        Aircraft maintenance facilities

·        Global mission dispatch office

·        Communication Offices

In accordance with the Ministry’s “networking” policy; office, storage and training space will be made available for the Civil Air Patrol aircraft and personnel.

This building will be energy efficient and able to “stand alone” in the event of a power outage due to a national disaster or other emergencies. All facilities will have solar electric/water/heat/cooling and a backup generator system to function dung times of crisis.
