The Beauty of Love
The question is asked, "Is there anything
more beautiful in life than a
boy and a girl clasping clean hands
and pure hearts in the path of

beautiful than young love?"

PARADOX OF OUR AGE
We have taller buildings but shorter tempers,
wider freeways but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more but have less,
we buy more but enjoy it less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families,
more conveniences but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense,
more knowledge but less judgment,
more experts but more problems,
more medicine but less wellness.
We spend too recklessly,
laugh too little,
drive too fast,
get too angry too quickly,
stay up too late,
get up too tired,
read too seldom,
watch TV too much,
and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions but reduced our values.
We talk too much,
love too seldom,
and lie too often.
We've learned how to make a living but not a life,
we've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back,
but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
We've conquered outer space but not inner space,
we've done larger things but not better things,
we've cleaned up the air but polluted the soul,
we've split the atom but not our prejudice,
we write more but learn less,
plan more but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush but not to wait,
we have higher incomes but lower morals,
more food but less appeasement,
more acquaintances but fewer friends,
more effort but less success.
We build more computers to hold more information,
to produce more copies than ever,
but have less communication.
We've become long on quantity but short on quality.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion,
tall men and short character,
steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace but domestic warfare,
more leisure and less fun,
more kinds of food but less nutrition.
These are days of two incomes but more divorce,
of fancier houses but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers,
throwaway morality, one-night stands,
overweight bodies and pills that do everything
from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the show window
and nothing in the stockroom.
Work like you don't
need the money.
Love like you've never

Here is my eight step recipe
for peace

GOD CAME BEFORE SATAN,

HE CLOSED HIS EYES

WHEN HIS MOM ASKED HIM WHY HE
DID THIS,

"I JUST DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO PRAY

YOU NEED TO DO A WORK
OF FAITH ALSO.
IF NOAH HAD JUST TOLD HIS FAMILY
A FLOOD WAS COMING,
THEY WOULD HAVE ALL DROWNED.
YOUR Attitude,
NOT YOUR Aptitude,
DETERMINES YOUR Altitude
JUST AS YOU NEVER GET THE
TRAIN TICKET
UNTIL JUST BEFORE YOU GET ON
THE TRAIN,
THE LORD WILL SOMETIMES WAIT
TO GIVE
YOU THE VISION UNTIL JUST BEFORE
IT'S TIME
TO BE DONE... AFTER ALL, YOU
MIGHT LOOSE IT.
SATAN IS LIKE A CHAINED
DOG.
SO DON'T ENTER INTO THE REALM
OF THE CHAIN!
THE LORD WANTS US TO COME
TO HIM LIKE CHILDREN
BECAUSE:
A CHILD HAS AN OPEN MIND.
A CHILD IS TRUSTING.
A CHILD IS HUMBLE.
A CHILD IS FILLED WITH ENTHUSIASM.
A CHILD LOVES JUST FOR THE SAKE
OF LOVING.
ALWAYS RUN TO GET THE TRUTH
FROM GOD,
AND NOT THE MIND OF MAN.
BEWARE THOSE WHO TEACH ONLY
THROUGH EMOTION
WITH NO THOUGHT OR PONDER.
BEWARE THOSE WHO TEACH ONLY THROUGH
THEOLOGY
WITH NO JOY OR HAPPINESS.
THE DIFFERENCE
I GOT UP EARLY ONE MORNING
AND RUSHED RIGHT INTO THE DAY;
I HAD SO MUCH TO ACCOMPLISH
THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PRAY.
PROBLEMS JUST TUMBLED ABOUT ME,
AND HEAVIER CAME EACH TASK.
"WHY DOESN'T GOD HELP ME?" I
WONDERED.
HE ANSWERED, "YOU DID NOT ASK."
I WANTED TO SEE JOY AND
BEAUTY,
BUT THE DAY TOILED ON, GRAY
AND BLEAK;
I WONDERED WHY GOD DIDN'T SHOW
ME.
HE SAID, "BUT YOU DIDN'T SEEK."
I TRIED TO COME INTO GOD'S PRESENCE;
I USED ALL MY KEYS AT THE LOCK.
GOD GENTLY AND LOVINGLY CHIDED,
"MY CHILD, YOU DID NOT KNOCK."
I WOKE UP EARLY THIS MORNING,
AND PAUSED BEFORE ENTERING THE
DAY;
I HAD SO MUCH TO ACCOMPLISH THAT
I HAD TO TAKE TIME TO PRAY.....................
